Seems this project has been a bit dormant but figured I could at least try to recommend this beautiful donghua series.
Here’s the description from CR:
Everyone around Futaba expects her to grow up and become an adult, and she’s lost the ability to keep herself mentally balanced. At the bottom of her heart, her childish self is still there, and still strong.
One day she wanders into another dimension, a world where the light has been lost, and darkness rules. The people there exist as babies wearing only their underpants. The clothes they wear can be summoned as powerful fighters called SpiCloths.
In this world, a battle was being fought between light and darkness…
The only issue is this version, and the only version available in English at all, pretty horribly edited the show to better fit a standard Japanese broadcast time-slot so the series went from 12 episodes to 7. They did sizable scene cuts, whole scene rearrangements, and even speeding up many frames so even pacing within the same scene is off. There’s unfortunately no translation of the original chinese show available anywhere neither in official or fan capacity, most having dropped it seeing CR had picked it up (not yet knowing how butchered the show got) and with it being 6 years old there unlikely to be any movement on the series from fansub groups.
It would be really cool to be able to see the series in it’s entirety with english subs so I went an searched if there was any on screen translators for hardcoded subs and found myself here ><
